2024-05-21 Harbor Cruises

I've got a lot of stuff going on. I'm buying a house, and selling a house, and I'm still volunteering at multiple places around town. From time to time, I ask friends and family to go on short "harbor cruises." These cruises usually last 2 - 3 hours and we just bounce from harbor to harbor, looking at the boats, and then slowly cruise through town, staying close in so we can see all the houses, businesses, and cruise ships if there are any in town that day.

I've recently taken two harbor cruises. I don't take photos on these trips in order to protect the privacy of my guests. For the first one I invited some former colleagues from my "Used To" job, and some of their kids. The second one had some of my new friends from my work as a volunteer for hospice care at PeaceHealth.

I don't schedule these harbor cruises unless the weather is excellent, as they are intended to be enjoyable. Sometimes we have a little food, some beverages, and snacks, and sometimes not, depending on the time of day.

One of the reasons I have the boat is to enjoy time with family and friends. Some of them don't have the opportunity to get out on the water very much, so this is a fun time for them, and the fellowship is excellent as well.
